Anglo American Full-Year Profits Decline 53%

Anglo American PLC reported a 53 decline in profits during 2009, citing the falling prices of platinum, iron ore and other metals as a cause for the mining company’s decline. Anglo reported full-year net profit of $2.42 billion, compared to $5.22 billion in 2008.
