Africa Israel Advances Debt Restructuring Plan

Real estate developer Africa Israel Investments announced Monday that its board of directors has approved a deal with bondholders to restructure NIS 7.4 billion ($2 billion) in debt. The company, which is controlled by Israeli diamantaire Lev Leviev, has asked a Tel Aviv court to approve a March 14 meeting between its board, shareholders and bondholders to approve the restructuring plan.
