who knew 2 big enemies like punk and indie would merge together so well. A lot of people call them folk punk, but I would disagree.

Each album got progressively less folky, much like Against Me! (excuse the cliche comparison)

But I like their indie sound as well!

Well if you listen to Spurs and Spokes or How Far Our Bodies Go, that’s folk punk fo sho. This new album is a whole different direction.
And since when were punk and indie enemies?

I should probably get their earlier stuff then.

Punk has always made fun of indie, but indie has always took ideals from early punk rock.
